Lenovo brings you an epic love story about the love between one man and his computer. The Notebook stars Ryan Gosling as a young man from the wrong side of the tracks, and introducing IBM ThinkPad Intel NoteBook as the high-class computer he falls for.
The movie opens with Noah (Gosling) spying his true love in a computer shop window. It's love at first sight. He is gobsmacked by the beauty of her Intel Celeron Processor 550 2 GHz and her 120GB SATA hard drive.
Every day he passes the shop his desire grows but soon his family and friends are trying to convince him he's not good enough for the NoteBook. "She's out of your league they tell him. You're just a hoodlum from the wrong side of the tracks. How could you afford a NoteBook with specs like that?"
Noah realises they're right and turns to a life of crime and heavy drinking to try and block out the memory of her 15.4" screen and Vista Home operating system. But so entranced with her WiFi capabilities and Intel Graphics Media Accelerator he can't get the NoteBook out of his mind.
One day he breaks down in front of the shop window sobbing uncontrollably. "She's got 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM which can be upgraded to a max of 4GB! She must be mine! Why couldn't she be less than a grand? Whhhhyyyyy?"
A passing stranger sees Noah's pain and says "Dude don't you know they're going for only $597 on Zazz today?" And like all movies with happy endings Noah runs in slow motion to the nearest internet cafe to buy his true love. And then there's a cringe-worthy montage of Noah and the NoteBook finally meeting and getting to know one another played out, of course, to a Celine Dion ballad.
Awwwww. Who says romance is dead? Wanna feel the love? Well you'd better grab yours today - cos they won't be here tomorrow.

Optional Microsoft Office (Home and Student Edition 2007) $139 per License.
In the box, you get one set of installation files on a DVD, and one licence code that can be registered for three computers in the same home.
Software included:
- Microsoft Word (word processor)
- Microsoft Excel (spreadsheet)
- Microsoft PowerPoint (Presentation Manager)
- Microsoft OneNote (Note recorder)
Called "Home & Student edition", you do not need to have a student in your home in order to legally use this product, but there is a restriction - you are not allowed to use this product for any business reasons. So if you run a business from home this is NOT for you - you will need to purchase Microsoft Office Small Business Edition.
However, if you want something to write letters and do the family finances at home, this is a sensible and cost-effective solution.
Note that Office 2007 only works with Windows XP or Vista, so computers running Windows 95, 98 or ME can NOT run this product. Also you do NOT get Outlook, Publisher or Access with this edition of Microsoft Office.
This is great value because it includes licences for 3 installations. If you have kids, then this is great for their homework (Word, Powerpoint presentations, etc.)
Note that this is Office 2007. Documents are saved by default as ".docx" or ".xlsx" in Word and Excel respectively (rather than ".doc" or ".xls"), but you can change the default setting in the options to always save as a .doc or .xls file - annoying but easy to change.
